A leading organisation engaging students in democracy and human rights

What We Do

Democracy, Human Rights & Governance

At Students for Global Democracy Uganda, we believe that democracy, human rights, and good governance are inseparable and form the foundation of sustainable development. We work to strengthen democratic institutions, promote the protection of human rights, and advocate for transparent and accountable governance systems.

Our programs seek to empower students and young people to be active participants in democratic processes and defenders of human rights in their communities and beyond. Through education, advocacy, and direct engagement, we help build a more just and inclusive society.
